Michael is responsible for the financial affairs and strategic planning of the company as well as the general administration of business travel and sales, vacation travel, marketing, and operations management. Michael's qualifications include extensive years of diverse and comprehensive business management experience. He has worked in various roles with large companies such as Wachovia Bank, Eaton Corporation and Ernst and Young.
For the past 24 years Michael has served as the President and Owner of Travelink Incorporated; co-founded in 1994 with William Haire and Donald Dixon. He currently also serves on the American Express Centurion Advisory Board, the ASTA CAC Board, the Travel Corporation Advisory Board, and the Renasant Bank Advisory Board. In addition, Michael represents the company in the Commonwealth Business Travel Group.
Michael received his B.S./B.A. from Mars Hill College in North Carolina and his Masters of Business Administration (Executive Program) from Vanderbilt University in Tennessee.
Bill is responsible for the operations, IT, automation and telephony areas of the company. In addition to being one of Travelink's Owners and Managing Partners for the past 24 years, Bill oversees Travelink's Meetings, Association Management, and Group Division and has a twenty-eight year history in this specialty area of travel. Furthermore, he has personally accompanied large groups to six of the seven continents. The Meetings Division manages domestic and international gatherings for a variety of corporate and non-profit groups and enjoys long-term relationships with our clients. The Group Division is a leader in producing customized travel arrangements, domestically and internationally, with a variety of academic, corporate, and non-profit organizations. We have coordinated events at the Sydney Opera House, The Music Conservatory in Beijing, and in Brighton England Convention Center, just to name a few.
Bill received his A.A. from Brevard College, B.A. from Pfeiffer University, a Masters at Duke University all in North Carolina.
As President of the Vacation Division of Travelink, Linda has developed the luxury division of our leisure business, Privileged Journeys, and continues to grow the company applying new, creative media channels. Linda formerly owned her own agency, WorldClass Travel, which was acquired by Travelink, American Express Travel in 2000. During her time as an agency owner and now in her current role at Travelink, Linda has served on the American Express CTN Advisory board as well as the American Express Vacations Advisory Board and the Departures Luxury Council.
Linda is passionate about travel and the future of the travel industry. She's traveled to all 50 states and to more than 50 countries on all seven continents. Her work and travels have given her firsthand insights into the expectations of the luxury traveler. Her dedication to being a professional is exhibited in earning a destination and lifestyle certification as well as the Certified Travel Counselor and Certified Travel Industry Executive designations.
Mike has ultimate responsibility for Business Travel Services, Employee Vacation Program sales, and Client Management. He also serves as the primary relationship manager for American Express Global Business Travel. His Division accounts for 80% of the gross sales for the entire Travelink organization. Prior to leading our BTS team, Mike spent 15 years in the Aircraft Manufacturing and Hi Temp Metals Processing Industry. He held Director Level positions in Sales, Marketing and OEM Client Contract Management in the United States and Europe.
Tim leads the finance, HR and administrative areas of our business. He brings to Travelink a broad range of progressive senior finance management experience with successful organizations in several industries, including 'big four" public accounting, media & entertainment, publishing, global manufacturing, sports entertainment, and higher education. Tim has worked with familiar iconic brands such as Coca-Cola, Southern Living at Time Inc., Gibson/Epiphone guitars, and most recently, as the Senior Finance Director for Technicolor, a manufacturer and distributor of DVD/blue-ray discs for 20th Century Fox and other movie studios.
Tim has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting as well as an MBA from Auburn University. He is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and a dynamic leader for our finance, HR, and administrative departments.
Sandy is responsible for executing a digital, social, mobile, CRM, traditional media and regional advertising strategy for Travelink and its sub-brands, Employee Vacation Programs and Privileged Journeys (luxury/VIP personal travel), across a national network of retail and virtual offices. In addition, she maintains a close relationship with American Express Marketing in New York and their Preferred Travel Suppliers globally to ensure all marketing and advertising channels are delivering the high caliber of results for which the American Express brand is well known. Sandy also holds an advisory board position for Travel + Leisure magazine and the German National Tourism Office in the USA.
Prior to joining Travelink, American Express Travel, Sandy spent 16 years leading and serving the digital and social marketing needs of major automotive brands such as Audi of America, Chevrolet, The Chrysler Group, and Infiniti & Nissan of North America.
Nancy has been with Travelink, American Express Travel for 16 years. Her role as Vice President, Technology & Software encompasses a variety of responsibilities, but her primary focus is to organize and manage the technology staff while overseeing the software platforms, agreements, associated support, and configuration management for all of our systems. She serves as a strategic planning resource as part of the Executive Leadership team for identification, selection, implementation, and maintenance of advanced business support systems through technology, telephony, software, and training resources.
Nancy has over 30 years of travel industry experience and 26 years of management experience within the travel industry.
Dan joined Travelink, American Express Travel in a Leadership role as Vice President, Operations. In this key role for our organization he plans, leads, and directs the activities and daily operations of the organization as well as the Customer Delivery for both our Business and Leisure travel divisions. He is responsible for the quality of customer delivery, motivating and energizing all of our travel advisors, and ensures we follow best practices and compliance for delivery of the superior customer experience we are known for.
Prior to joining to Travelink, Dan was Managing Director and Co-owner of Summit Travel Group for the past 14 years and prior to leading his own company, he held the role of Partner in the Management Consulting Division of Ernst & Young for 23 years. Dan is a CPA with a BA in Political Science from UC Santa Barbara and received his MBA from UCLA's Anderson School of Management.
Katrina provides the Executive Leadership team with many levels of service and works directly with the Managing Partners, Michael Dixon and William Haire. Prior to joining the Travelink team, Katrina worked in a multitude of industries: insurance, construction, medical, pet products, and legal. She has owned three businesses and has a great love of travel and a passion for the travel industry. She has lived in various parts of the world including Malta, Utah, Southern and Northern California, Manhattan, Long Island, and Nashville, Tennessee.
Katrina studied at Katharine Gibbs School and Pace University, both in Manhattan.
