Client Account Director, Employee Vacation Programs

POSITION SUMMARY OR PURPOSE:

The Client Account Director for Employee Vacation Programs (EVP) is responsible for nurturing successful, ongoing relationships with all portfolio accounts while devising strategies for growth and retention.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Client Account Relationship Management
    • Develop and strengthen relationships with our corporate client account leadership across your portfolio.
    • Establish robust internal relationships with primary contacts at client companies, ensuring all client information is current in our database.
  • Client Portfolio Growth
    • Oversee the client portfolio to ensure our services significantly benefit our clients. Identify client needs, such as online training and reporting, and collaborate with internal teams and clients for implementation.
    • Monitor client sales trends to identify potential concerns or opportunities for additional business.
    • Responsible for monthly pipeline reporting, tracking progress against annual growth goals.
  • Client Reporting
    • Master our reporting tools to provide standard and custom reports to clients on a monthly basis.
    • Maintain expertise in all software systems supporting the vacation division.
    • Assist with creating client presentations, marketing materials, and organizing webinars or live events using our existing materials and working with Marketing to create new content for client delivery.
  • Client Negotiated Rate Requests
    • Update and maintain negotiated hotel and car rental rates in our booking system, ensuring they are accessible for vacation travel advisors.
    • Ensure all updates are reflected accurately in our SABRE GDS and other client data management systems.
  • Online Booking Tools
    • Gain proficiency in our proprietary online booking tools to effectively address initial concerns and facilitate client resolutions.
    • Conduct base-level training for clients onsite or via virtual platforms such as Zoom or Teams.
    • Lead webinar trainings with end users at client accounts, as required.
  • Gift of Travel Program
    • Learn how the entire Gift of Travel process works from sale to the recipient traveling and beyond to earn repeat business.
    • Collaborate with client account leaders to promote our unique Gift of Travel incentive program.
    • Follow up with past purchasers to discuss the program’s impact and explore repeat business opportunities.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of 5 years in a business leadership role, managing strategic and complex programs
  • Demonstrated experience with large, enterprise accounts and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Led large Enterprise cross-functional teams to close deals.
  • Strong communication, reporting, and forecasting skills are essential.
  • Comfortable with both new and legacy technologies.
  • Ability to travel 25-35%.
  • Excellent English language proficiency.
  • Problem-solving mentality with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with varying deadlines.

  • Exceptional customer service skills with superior interpersonal abilities.
  • Creative thinker who is organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Office and general PC operations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Requires an adequate range of body motion and mobility to enable the individual to perform the essential physical functions of the job.
  • Requires ability to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday.
  • Requires one to operate a computer, telecommunication devises and other office equipment for prolonged periods throughout the workday.
  • Requires ability to work other shifts and weekends more than 40 hours/week as necessary.
  • Ability to travel by car, plane and train for prolonged periods of time domestically and internationally and to move and transport personal luggage.
