Fun Fact: I love adventures like hot air ballooning over Tuscany.

I love Italy most for the passion of its people and the way they savor every sip of wine and each bite of a meal-they truly know how to enjoy the "Bella Vida." Let me give you your own taste of the "beautiful life," with a personalized itinerary that makes the most of everything amazing about this destination. Take a tour of Chianti or enjoy a pizza making class with the whole family in Rome. I'll direct you to the little-known trattorias serving organic, authentic cuisine at prices that will boggle your mind. Over 32 years in the industry has given me the contacts to make even the seemingly impossible reservations possible for my clients. From shadowing a Truffle hunter as he seeks the prized delicacy to sampling heartbreakingly delicious Bolognese under a ceiling of copper kettles, the Bella Vida awaits you. Don't wait another minute to start living it-contact me today.

Most Unusual or Intriguing Request I've Fulfilled for a Customer

My client wanted to try Japanese pancakes and I was able to make that happen. It's a savory dish that is a bit more like an omelette or frittata than a pancake and it's made with okonomiyaki flour, eggs, cabbage, pork (bacon), shrimp or other seafood, and topped with a variety of condiments like sweet sauce (okonomi sauce), mayonnaise, dried seaweed and dried fish flakes.

We would like to thank Lori for her extraordinary efforts in helping to create a family Italian vacation that was beyond our expectation. Although she has helped hundreds of families, ours represented a challenge because there were some who had been to Italy many times and some who had never set foot in another country. Naturally, when you put multiple individuals on a path toward a destination, there are often conflicting expectations and desires. Lori listened. She listened to what was important to us as a family and what was important to us as individuals. While she held strong opinions she only offered those opinions as options never as answers we could not change. Her ability to work with the detail oriented members of our family while being sensitive to the “big idea” family members who wanted to focus on the gestalt was impressive.

I am confident that our itinerary was far less complicated than many she has created. However, at the beginning of our work with her, because it was our first family European vacation, it seemed overwhelmingly complicated. With patience, wisdom, clarity, and sensitivity, Lori helped us craft and experience that we will all cherish for a lifetime.

Once in Italy she was able to help us meet both our individual desires and our collective needs. Some of us wanted specific and focused guidance through the artistic works of Gian Lorenzo Bernini while others sought a religious pilgrimage to St. Peter’s and a mass delivered by the Pope. My wife had a particular need to spiritually connect with St. Francis on the mountain and in the forests in Assisi where he spent so much of his time communing with nature. Other members of the family sought meaning in the majesty of basilicas and cathedrals.

Toward the second half of our trip together, lodging that had been set up by other members of the family became a disaster. In a calm and clear way, Lori helped us find not only a magnificent hotel in Pietrasanta that was simply fabulous yet affordable. She was truly able to take what could have been the virtual end of our trip and find a last-minute solution that was beyond anyone’s expectations.

I could continue to extol all the effort and attention to detail that Lori gave to our family. I am sure that she gives the same attention to everyone with whom she works. We certainly celebrate her help in making our Italian vacation successful. In addition, we want to honor the manner in which she helped us to resolve potential family conflicts and navigate family minefields. We are forever grateful for her as an individual and as a professional. Her effort was extraordinary and it will give us memories for a lifetime.

Please allow this letter to express our mutual appreciation for all that she did for us.

Warm Regards,

Becky and Jeff G — Trip to Italy

Good Morning Lori!

I am very sorry for the tardiness of this note.  Thank you so very much for organizing our trip to the Del in March.  My family loved their rooms and the complimentary breakfasts offered an amazing start to our days.   Everyone mentioned how appreciative they were for your arranging our accommodations. We enjoyed returning to the Del and celebrating my nephew's wedding in San Diego.

Thank you again for your attention to every detail. I look forward to planning another adventure for my family through your services.

Happy Mother's Day!

First, I want to thank you for planning the most AMAZING vacation!!!  You were SO patient and kind throughout all our craziness- sorry for all the SOS emails!  Our last guide in Istanbul was at our hotel at 8:30 am😳 but she was our favorite and stayed with us for 2 extra hours without charging!!  I would love to give you her name so you could go straight through her if anyone else is going to Istanbul. She speaks great English.  Our yacht we rented was even more incredible!!   We did the sunset cruise on the Bosporus- castles, palaces- FABULOUS!

Thank you😍

Hi, Lori- Italy was fantastic, so just wanted to thank you again for your help!  .....Thought we'd share some good stuff we discovered, in case you have run out of new things to experience when you go (lol), or want to explore recommendations for your clients...

The real find from that part of our trip was Pietrasanta -what a great little town! We so enjoyed walking to a few really terrific meals (esp. Giacomo), while the town celebrated a medieval festival that weekend.

The COMO in Tuscany was magical and we found an absolutely phenomenal casual, super-Tuscan, restaurant nearby called Osteria il Campanellino -we loved it so much, we ate there twice.

And we discovered, in Rome, what might be our most favorite restaurant EVER.

We will be talking with you by the end of the year regarding 2020! (Yes, we will be going back! Sicily? S. Italy? Both? TBD!)
